NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Traffic was slow Friday morning along two Nashville interstates after a car fire and several crashes.
The car fire occurred around 8 a.m. on I-40 West at mile marker 205, near the exit for 46th Avenue. It was cleared about 30 minutes later.
A tractor trailer jack-knifed on I-24 East at mile marker 57, not too far from Haywood Lane. Traffic was affected with the right lanes blocked.
An injury accident occurred just after 7 a.m. on I-40 West at mile marker 220 near Bell Road. Westbound traffic was affected with the right lanes blocked and traffic was backed up for miles.
North of town, a futon in the roadway was blocking eastbound traffic on Briley Parkway near the Clarksville Pike exit.
