NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
She's only been on the job for a week but already new Tennessee State University President Glenda Baskin-Glover is making a big splash.
She told faculty and staff Monday she is donating $50,000 to the school, saying she wants to lead by example.
The money will be used to set up a scholarship fund.
Baskin-Glover says her goal is to improve TSU's graduation and student retention rates.
She also encourages other TSU alums to make donations.
