Former Sunday school teacher jailed on sexual battery charge

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -
A former Sunday school teacher in Clarksville is charged with aggravated sexual battery after he allegedly had inappropriate contact with a six-year-old girl.
According to police, Christopher Crossno, 22, became sexually aroused while holding the six-year-old girl in his lap.
The alleged incident occurred at Spring Creek Baptist Church located in the 2700 block of Trenton Road on November 18.
Crossno was indicted by a grand jury and faces one count of aggravated sexual battery.
He was booked into the Montgomery County jail on a $10,000 bond.
In 2009, a former youth pastor at Spring Creek Baptist Church was charged with three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure, among other charges, after it was discovered he allegedly had sexual contact with a minor who attended the youth program.
