NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Traffic was slow during Thursday morning's commute due to several accidents and wet roadways.
Just south of town, a crash partially blocked Interstate 65 North near Armory Drive. The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. The scene was cleared by 9 a.m.
Also on I-65, traffic was stop-and-go after a car caught fire shortly before the morning commute.
The fire was reported around 7 a.m. on I-65 South at mile marker 75 near the Old Hickory Boulevard exit, not too far from the Williamson County line.
The roadway has since been cleared.
Another incident involving a tractor trailer was reported along I-65 North. It too has since cleared.
Rain and wet conditions were likely factors in many of the accidents.
No serious injuries were reported.
