Austin Peay survives overtime scare against Morehead St.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Austin Peay blew a 19-point halftime lead, but squeaked by Morehead State 84-81 in overtime Wednesday night in Clarksville.

The Governors led 39-20 at the half, then gave up 52 second half points and the lead as the Eagles forced overtime.

Will Triggs and Travis Betran led the 5-12 Governors with 20 points each.

Wednesday was Austin Peay's first Ohio Valley Conference win of the season. They're now 1-2.
