LEBANON, Tenn. -

Lebanon police have charged a woman with aggravated assault after she accused her boyfriend of looking at porn online and shot him in the leg.

According to a report in the Wilson Post, the alleged incident occurred on Saturday at an apartment located in the 1400 block of Indlewild Drive.

Upon their arrival to the home, Melonie Cantrell stated she had been attacked and fired shots in self defense.

Officers located gunshot victim Jimmy Harp inside the couple's home with a wound to his left inner thigh.

The victim reported to police Cantrell approached him armed with his handgun.

She reportedly pointed the weapon at him as she "demanded that he confess to her that he had been looking at porn on the computer or else she was going to shoot him dead."

When Harp did not answer Cantrell she allegedly shot him in the leg.

Cantrell was jailed on a $35,000 bond. She has since been released and is scheduled to appear in court on February 19.
