Woman injured after colliding with FedEx truck

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A female driver was injured after colliding head-on with a FedEx truck Thursday morning.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Knight Drive near the eastbound entrance to Briley Parkway.

According to police, a woman driving toward Whites Creek Pike crossed the center line and collided with a FedEx truck traveling in the opposite direction.

The woman was taken to Skyline Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck was uninjured.

Knight Drive was shutdown for approximately 10 minutes.
