2 killed in Montgomery County crash

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Two people were killed in a crash New Year's Day on Interstate 24 in Montgomery County.

The wreck occurred near mile marker 8 around 4:30 a.m.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Andre Lynch lost control of a vehicle, overcorrected, ran off the road and struck a tree

Lynch, 27, of Clarksville, and his passenger, Herschel Quintero, 23, of Brooklyn, New York, were killed.

No other vehicles were involved.
