Franklin man, 22, killed in I-440 wreck

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A Franklin man was killed in a crash on Interstate 440 in Nashville Saturday morning.

The accident happened in the eastbound lanes near Nolensville Pike just after 10:30 a.m.

According to reports, 22-year-old Connor Finney rolled his car off the highway. The vehicle slid down an embankment and into a tree, smashing the midsection of the car.

Finney died at the scene.

Metro's fatal accident team remained on the scene for several hours following the crash.

All lanes of I-440 East have since reopened.
