BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -
The Sumner County inmate who escaped Wednesday afternoon has been arrested, WBKO-TV in Bowling Green reports.
Kentucky State Police say they got a tip that led them to the Country Hearth Inn in Horse Cave where they found 35-year-old Stevie Robertson.
After a short period of time, he surrendered to troopers without incident.
Robertson, who was in jail for sexual exploitation of a minor, was allowed to attend a doctor's appointment in Bowling Green on Wednesday through a judge's order.
He was with his father-in-law when they stopped at White Castle on Scottsville Road.
Robertson eventually fled on foot toward the Holiday Inn Express.
