Business woman donates gifts to Nashville children
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A Nashville woman and her family continued their annual Christmas tradition and gave away hundreds of toys to area families in need on Monday.
The giveaway was held at the James A. Cayce homes located at 567 South 5th Street in east Nashville.
Attendees were allowed to pick out four gifts.
Kimberly Simmons, owner of PJ's Homecare, previously told Nashville's News 2 she gives away the gifts as a way to give back to the community where she once lived.
"One year, we didn't have anything for Christmas. I remember we went to school, and when we came back home, we had a whole house full of stuff, and we didn't know where it came from, and I always thought I am going to do [that for] somebody," she previously said.
