Although we still think there will be some snow flurries and snow showers on Wednesday, the worry of an accumulating snow in our northwestern counties has shifted farther north & west.
There could be some major travel problems in Arkansas, extreme west Kentucky, south & central Illinois and Indiana Christmas night through Wednesday. The counties in blue on the map have a Winter Storm Watch in effect, and the pink counties in Arkansas and Oklahoma are under a Winter Storm Warning.
Some of those areas may see 4-8" of snow.
Here in Middle Tennessee, the snow will fly in the air on Wednesday, but accumulations are not expected. Some areas in northern Middle Tennessee may see a dusting at most.
Our eastern counties from near Center Hill & Dale Hollow Lakes eastward to the Plateau could see an inch.
