Man being investigated for wife's death after attempted suicide

DICKSON, Tenn. -

A man in the hospital after attempting suicide is being investigated by authorities in Dickson County after his wife was found dead at their home on Bishop Lane.

The man, Morris Long, Jr., 23, attempted suicide Saturday morning by running into traffic on Interstate 40 near McCrory Lane in Bellevue.

Long was hit by a truck and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

No other details were available.
