Crash closes I-40 in Cheatham County

KINGSTON SPRINGS, Tenn. -

A crash had the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 shutdown Wednesday afternoon in Cheatham County.

The wreck at miler marker 188 was reported around 1:30 p.m.

Eastbound traffic was affected with roadway closed. Westbound traffic was affected with rubbernecking delays.

The scene was cleared and the eastbound lanes reopened by 4 p.m.
