Composite sketch released of man who gunned down woman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Police have released a composite sketch of the man who is believed to have fatally shot a 43-year-old south Nashville woman in late August.

Dalia Gutierrez-Sanchez was shot during the early morning hours of August 24 outside her Wallace Road apartment.

Police previously said robbery was a possible motive in the shooting as Gutierrez-Sanchez's purse was stolen.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s.  He has unkempt hair that he wears over to one side.

He is around five feet, eight inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. At the time of the murder he was wearing blue jeans and a blue-green hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on the suspect's identity or whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
