NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police have released surveillance video hoping it will help find an armed robber.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. Sunday at the Donelson Pike Cigars and Ale near the intersection of Elm Hill Pike.

The suspect, wearing a white ball cap, entered the store and put his camouflage jacket hood over his head.

He then took a gun, set it on the counter and demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk handed him an undisclosed amount of cash before the robber fled the scene.

Detectives said surveillance video from area businesses show him leaving the scene in an older model, white GM four-door pickup truck with a magnetic business logo on the passenger's side.

A police dog was unable to pick up the trail of the suspect.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information is urged to call Metro police or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
