
Illness has once again closed schools in Stewart County, northwest of Nashville.
Schools will be closed Friday and next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Superintendent Eric Watkins said 15% of students and 12% of staff members were out Thursday with the flu or flu like systems.
Stewart County schools closed for illness late last month.
Schools in Perry and Humphreys counties are also closed this week.
Overton and Clay county schools have also cancelled classes in recent weeks due to sickness among students and staff.
