Good ISS Viewing This Early Evening

Posted:

Thanks to Kris McCall at Adventure Science Center for the information:

There will be several good opportunities for viewers in Middle Tennessee to see the International Space Station pass overhead this week.

Tonight in the Nashville area look to the SSW sky around 5:37PM.  It will look like a bright star moving across the sky getting as high as 59° elevation.  It should be visible for about 3 minutes.

It will be the brightest object in the sky!

For future dates:

click "flybys" in the header and type your zip code

choose your city or provide exact latitude and longitude

The exact time and position are affected by the observer's exact location, but it will be visible over a very wide area. Now, all we need are clear skies.
