Kroger stores throughout Middle Tennessee helped provide 184,000 meals to Second Harvest Food Bank. All of the collected items received during Kroger's three week donation drive were delivered on Tuesday and will benefit the food bank's Feeding Hope Challenge. "With one in four children at risk for hunger in Middle Tennessee, it is important that we do whatever we can to make a difference," Melissa Eads, community affairs manager for Kroger previously said. Second Harvest Food Bank was founded in 1978.
