transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos) has opened its fourth site in the city of Sapporo -- a call center "Marketing Chain Management Center Sapporo Odori-Kita" (hereinafter, "MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Kita") on September 1, 2012. The center is to launch its operations as of today.
Since expanding into the city of Sapporo, transcosmos has been providing call center services with 3 sites – MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Minami, MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Chuo, and MCM Center at the Sapporo train station – and with the on-site system where transcosmos employees are stationed at the corporate clients’ sites, mainly for manufacturing, telecommunications, financial, and transportation industries. The fourth site has been opened this time due to increased business volume at the existing three centers and new businesses.
MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Kita is within five minutes of walk from both MCM Center Sapporo Odori- Minami and MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Chuo. Since MCM Center Sapporo Odori-Minami also houses “Work it! Plaza Sapporo” (*), they can work in cooperation with each other at ease in the area of hiring as well as business. Also, it is located at the corner of Ekimae Dori (Street) and Kita Ichijo Dori (Street), which is the main pipe in Sapporo, right in the heart of Sapporo’s business affairs.
