The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added an 82-year-old man wanted for child rape to the state's "Most Wanted" list on Tuesday afternoon.
Wendell Washam is wanted by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office for failure to report for trial, in addition to two counts of rape of a child, solicitation to commit rape of a child, aggravated sexual battery, solicitation of sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means of a minor.
Authorities said Washam, who last lived in Platte City, Missouri, was scheduled to appear in court on December 3 to enter a guilty plea.
Law enforcement agencies said they have received information that Washam has committed additional offenses against children since he was charged in Williamson County.
Washam is five feet, seven inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
Authorities believe he could be in Missouri or Kansas.
Washam did not have a previous criminal history prior to his charges in Tennessee.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
