Hillary Scott announced her pregnancy via Twitter on Friday afternoon.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Hillary Scott of the popular country trio Lady Antebellum took to her Twitter account on Friday afternoon to announce she and her husband are expecting a baby.

In the tweet Scott writes, "Chris and I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a baby! We feel so blessed!"

The 26-year-old and her husband Chris Tyrell married in a ceremony in New York in January.
