NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Several downtown roads will be closed on Friday evening for the 60th annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade.
Beginning at 4 p.m. Second Avenue northbound to Union Street and the Woodland Street Bridge westbound to Interstate Drive will be closed.
At 5:30 p.m. Broadway will be closed from Second through Seventh avenues. Organizers said traffic will be allowed to cross north and southbound across Broadway.
Beginning at 6 p.m. traffic will not be permitted to cross Broadway. At 6:45 p.m. Broadway will be closed from Second to Thirteenth avenues.
The roadways are expected to reopen at 9 p.m.
