Clarksville woman charged with raping minor

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

A Clarksville woman was taken into police custody Wednesday for allegedly raping a child under the age of 13.

Police said they believe the incidents involving 25-year-old Sasha Phillips occurred between January 2007 and October 2009.

Phillips was also charged on a separate incident in May 2011 that involved a child under the age of 18.

She is charged with two counts of rape and one count of statutory rape.

Phillips remains jailed on a $75,000 bond.
