Driver rear-ends school bus north of Nashville - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A driver rear-ended a school bus Thursday afternoon north of Nashville.

The crash occurred around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Dickerson Road and Briley Parkway, just east of Interstate 65.

There were students onboard the bus at the time although none were injured.  The students were transferred to another bus and taken from the scene.

Metro police said the driver of the white Toyota who hit the bus suffered some sort of medical emergency.

He was transported to Skyline Medical Center.
