Portion of Hwy. 100 closed as crews repair electrical pole

FAIRVIEW, Tenn. -

A busy roadway in Fairview was closed Wednesday night while crews made repairs to an electrical pole that was hit by a vehicle earlier in the day.

Highway 100 between Glenhaven and Cumberland Drive was blocked off to motorists and drivers were re-routed.

Following the crash more than 3,000 residents were without power.

Power has been restored to most customers.

The roadway reopened around 11 p.m.
