Authorities said a woman and two minors were injured in a crash in Rutherford County on Wednesday. The crash was reported at 7474 Manchester Highway, near East Gum Road just after 3 p.m. Officials said Jennifer Babson, 42, was traveling on the roadway when her 2002 Toyota Camry traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a tree. A spokesperson for the Tennessee Highway Patrol said a seven-year-old boy was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Babson and a 13-year-old boy were both transported by ground to an area hospital. All three of the victims were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident. Possible charges are pending.
