La Vergne woman stole $340K from employer, police say

Police say Amber Ison, 20, stole approximately $340,000 from her former employer.

LA VERGNE, Tenn. -

A La Vergne woman was arrested last week for stealing approximately $340,000 from her former employer.

Amber Ison, 20, worked at Grey's Used Auto Parts on Jefferson Pike.

The alleged theft occurred over a period of 17 months.

Ison was arrested Friday and booked in the Rutherford County jail.

Additional information was not released.
