CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -
Clarksville police arrested a driver Thursday for allegedly pointing a handgun at another motorist on Ashland City Road.
William Nix, 33, of Clarksville, is charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of Ashland City Road around 3:20 p.m. after a driver reported another driver, later identified as Nix, displayed a weapon and pointed it at him.
Nix was located on nearby Edmondson Ferry Road.
He was arrested after the victim positively identified him as the other motorist.
Police recovered a .22 caliber handgun from Nix's car.
