Crash along I-65 slows traffic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Traffic was slow along Interstate 65 south of Nashville following an accident Friday morning.

The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. on I-65 North near mile marker 77.

The vehicle involved was facing the opposite direction on the roadway as a result of the wreck.

Northbound traffic was affected with the roadway partially blocked. Traffic was backed up to Old Hickory Boulevard.

No further information was immediately released.

The scene was cleared and road reopened before 9 a.m.
