Lady Vols survive score from Middle Tennessee 88-81 in OT

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -

Sixteenth ranked Tennessee trailed for 35 minutes before rallying to beat Middle Tennessee 88-81 in overtime Wednesday night in Knoxville.

Tennessee took its first lead at 64-63 with just over four minutes to play and led by as many as five. Icelyn Elie hit a three-pointer with less than two seconds to play for the Blue Raiders to send the game to overtime.

Meghan Simmons scored 19 points for Tennessee (5-1). Graves collected 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Ebony Rowe recorded 19 points and 12 rebounds for Middle Tennessee.
