Convicted felon arrested at Franklin apt. for drug, gun charges

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

Police arrested a convicted felon for drug and gun charges at a Franklin apartment early Wednesday evening.

According to police, Timothy Carlton was selling illegal drugs out of the apartment unit located in the 100 block of Thompson Alley.

Upon their arrival police discovered guns, crack cocaine and marijuana inside the apartment.

Carlton, a registered sex offender and convicted felon with a history including assault, drug and weapons charges, is currently awaiting transport to the Williamson County jail.
