Woman caught stealing wallet at Franklin Walmart - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

Franklin police detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a woman who stole a wallet from another shopper at the Walmart store on Mallory Lane.

Police said the woman, pictured in surveillance photos, took the wallet from an unattended purse left in a shopping cart.

Using the victim's card, the suspect made her own purchases, totaling more than $600.

Anyone who recognizes the woman is urged to call Williamson County Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000.
