Benito Fuentez, 62, was struck and killed Wednesday morning.

A 22-year-old man involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Columbia on Wednesday morning turned himself into police.
Jason Strickland is charged with reckless vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a fatality accident and failure to stop and render aid after he struck 62-year-old Benito Fuentez.
Fuentez's body was discovered shortly before 7 a.m. in the 2900 block of Campbellsville Pike south of Edge Park Court.
Investigators determined Fuentez walked to work each morning down Campbellsville Pike and had left his residence at approximately 3 a.m.
Strickland is being held in the Maury County jail.
His bond amount was not immediately known.
