911 dispatcher took prescription medicine before DUI arrest

A Metro 911 dispatcher was arrested on a DUI charge over the weekend in Murfreesboro.

The incident involving Barbara Boske occurred on Saturday in the 300 block of West Northfield Boulevard just before 3 a.m.

Officers witnessed Boske's vehicle leave her lane several times before a traffic stop was initiated.

Upon approaching the vehicle, arresting officers reported the 43-year-old woman had red eyes, dilated pupils and appeared to be disoriented.

Officers asked her to perform a field sobriety test, which she performed poorly on.

Police said she admitted to taking the prescription medicine Ambien prior to her arrest.

Boske was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $1,500 bond.

She is scheduled to appear in court February 26, 2013.
