Stewart County schools closed rest of week due to illness

STEWART COUNTY, Tenn. -

School officials in Stewart County have decided to cancel classes for the rest of the week due to the high number of students absent due to sickness.

On Tuesday around 12% of the county's students were absent.

All of the schools are expected to be disinfected before students return on Monday.
