Photo courtesy of WATE-TV.KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Ten months after construction crews stormed a West Knoxville family's home, their episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is about to make its TV debut.
In January, the Watson family was selected for a brand new home for their work through their non-profit organization The Restoration House of East Tennessee.
Over a week of frenzied construction, Tennesseans displayed their volunteer spirit, pitching in to help give back to the family.
Though 6 News was there to cover the construction from outside, our crews were not allowed inside until after the show airs.
Nashville's News 2 will air the episode Monday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., following Dancing With the Stars.
