Fire displaces family of 3 in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A family of three was displaced early Sunday morning after a fire destroyed their mobile home.

The blaze broke out just after 9 a.m. in the 200 block of Nesbitt Lane.

Firefighters got the fire under control quickly, however the home appears to be a total loss.

The fire awoke the family inside.

The father sustained burns on his hands after trying to put out the flames.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
