After a mild Thanksgiving week, we are paying for it with a significant cool-down this weekend.
Today's highs will only be in the mid 40s, with tonight's lows dropping to the mid 20s.
Sunday & Monday will feature a brief warm-up before significant rain arrives Monday evening(possibly as early as afternoon), through Monday night and half the day on Tuesday.
As low pressure develops in Texas and moves into Tennessee with a southern branch of the jet stream, most areas of Middle TN should see .75"-1" of rain.
Meanwhile, folks to our north could see their first significant snowfall from St. Louis into the Ohio River Valley.
If you have to travel northward on Tuesday, you may want to keep an eye on this.
That snow should push into the northeast U.S. Tuesday afternoon and evening.
