Once again this morning we saw chilly temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s.
However, in some abundant sunshine, temperatures will soar to the mid 60s by afternoon. Notice the steep curve on the temperature graph to the right.
This Thanksgiving week will generally be mild, with the exception of cool night time temperatures.
By Thanksgiving Day we could well see upper 60s for a high in many areas. I wouldn't be surprised if some areas hit 70°.
We do expect a weekend cool down, though.
One model brings the front through on Friday, the other on Saturday. Either way, cooler temperatures will return next weekend after a mild Thanksgiving week.
BTW, earlier fears of another Nor'easter to affect NY/NJ & New England have been calmed, as models are forecasting the low to stay farther offshore now. Some are still w/o power.
Hope that makes for a happier Thanksgiving for our friends in the northeast.
