Tootsies hosts 52nd birthday bash block party

Tootsie's Orchid Lounge

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge in downtown Nashville celebrated its 52nd birthday on Thursday.

To celebrate, the lounge hosted a birthday bash that kicked off at 3 p.m. on Broadway, right in front of the world famous lounge.

Darryl Worley, Troy Gentry of the duo Montgomery Gentry and Randy Houser among others are all scheduled to perform at the celebration, which will be emceed by television host Storme Warren.

The event wraps up at 2 a.m.

Broadway between 4th and 5th avenues will remain closed until 1 a.m. Friday.
