Flyte's wine list ranked among nation's best

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Nashville's Flyte World Dining and Wine is one of OpenTable.com's 100 restaurants with the most notable wine lists for 2012.

It's no small feat as OpenTable.com bases the list on more than five million restaurant reviews from 15,000 restaurants nationwide.

Flyte, located on Division Street, just south of downtown, offers a unique wine concept.  Diners can choose small samples of a number of different wines, or go for the traditional glass or bottle.

Flyte has been honored before, but this time it's extra special.

"We've won awards that were from magazines where they're looking at your wine list and deciding whether or not it's worthy but [our wine list] was definitely designed for customers, to be a different experience and have customers get excited about it and that's the best possible reward we could receive," co-owner Scott Sears told Nashville's News 2.

Flyte has taken off since it opened in 2006, and Sears says next year could be a big one, with the opening of the new Music City Center Convention Center just a few blocks away.

360 Bistro, located at the Highway 70/Highway 100 split in Belle Meade, also made OpenTable.com's top 100 list.
