Crashes clog I-65 North in Williamson County

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -

Two multi-vehicle crashes had the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 crawling Thursday morning in Williamson County.

Motorists were advised to avoid I-65 North between Moores Lane and Old Hickory Boulevard.

The crashes resulted in lane closures and a significant backlog of traffic.

Motorists were urged to use Franklin Road or Wilson Pike as alternate routes.

The scenes were cleared and all lanes reopened by 9:30 a.m.
