NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police responded to an accident involving two officers in downtown Nashville late Wednesday night.
The accident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Third Avenue North at Church Street.
Authorities told Nashville's News 2 an undercover cop ran a red light, causing an officer on a motorcycle to t-bone his vehicle.
The motorcycle cop was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Responding officers on the scene said neither officer was responding to a call at the time of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
No additional information was released.
