David Price wins American League Cy Young Award

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Former Vanderbilt University star David Price won the American League Cy Young Award in the closest voting ever Wednesday night.

The Murfreesboro native led the American league with 2.56 ERA and had 205 strike outs for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Price beat out Justin Verlander and Jered Weaver for the award.
