The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center will kick off its annual "A County Christmas" celebration when it flips the switch to its holiday lights display Thursday night.
For the last 29 years, the light display has brought visitors from all over the world to Middle Tennessee.
Each year, two million twinkling lights are strung on the outside of the hotel while thousands more are strung inside.
Thursday's lighting ceremony will be held just after 6 p.m. and will air live on wkrn.com.
A Country Christmas continues through January 1 and includes the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world-famous Rockettes, ICE! featuring DreamWorks Shrek the Halls, Lorrie Morgan's Enchanted Christmas Dinner and Show and much more.
