Last night the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) were seen as far south as North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan & Wisconsin.
With clear skies, it was a spectacular sight. The top picture from Mt. Washington, NH was shared by The Weather Channel's Eric Fisher. It was taken by the folks at the observation station, elevation 6,288 ft. Wow!
Meanwhile, in Australia & New Zealand experienced a total solar eclipse yesterday afternoon our time, Wednesday morning their time.
People flocked from all over to experience the rare event.
