Man wanted for stealing laptop from Franklin Walmart

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

Franklin police are working to identify a man wanted for stealing a laptop computer from an area Walmart last month.

Police said the suspect loaded the computer into a shopping cart and left the store through the garden shop exit.

The man is said to have fled the scene in a waiting SUV.

The computer is valued at $850.

Anyone with information on the man's identity or whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000.
