Drivers were urged to use caution on the roadways and in fog-prone areas Tuesday morning.
Temperatures dipped in the upper 20s during the overnight hours, leaving behind a hard frost.
Numerous counties throughout Tennessee issued freezing-fog advisories as a result.
Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid to upper 50s Tuesday. The forecast is similar for the rest of the weeks.
In Antioch, the cold temperatures caused a water main break along Spann Court at Antioch Pike, not too far from Franklin Limestone Road.
The break was reported just before 4 a.m. and caused some concern for ice in the area.
Crews have since repaired the pipe.
