Man killed, juvenile injured in Murfreesboro crash

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -

Murfreesboro police are investigating after a single vehicle crash claimed the life of a 19-year-old man and injured a juvenile Monday afternoon.

The accident was reported around 1 p.m. on John R. Rice Boulevard just off of Cason Lane, near Grisham Lane.

According to police, William Bryant's Ford Explorer left the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Bryant, a Nashville resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A juvenile passenger was transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center with minor injuries.
